Great post! I feel the same - I'm the 'fat, funny one' and it is part of my personality. Although part of it is surely a self defence mechanism? I have 5 stone to lose - God help me. I'll be following your progress too. Good luck.

Thank you so much for commenting and understanding - I do think it is now, in part a self defence mechanism, but if I'm honest I've always been clowning around - fat or thin, I've always been the one making a t*t of herself.
By the way, I think that five stone is entirely doable (it better be, I've got more than that to go!) especially if you take it half a stone at a time. Good luck to you too, thing with me is I definitely know what I *should* be doing - and when am motivated and positive can do brilliantly, but when I feel stressed, my eating goes out of control. I'm working on it! xx
